Storyboard
The Storyboard is Betterplan's User Story Map what should be built, and how the story of it is structured. Unlike a wall poster, the map stays alive: every card is a real ticket, and whatever you change here applies in every other view.
Releases
A Release is a milestone that defines what gets delivered at a certain point in time. In the Storyboard every Release is a horizontal row (swimlane): the Stories in it belong to that milestone. That way you see at a glance what is in the first Release and what only comes later.

Prioritizing
Many Product Owners see prioritizing as the biggest problem of their work. Betterplan helps in two ways: with a global priority rule that applies to the whole project, and with the Storyboard, which makes the first prioritization easier. The two are not the same thing. This page explains the difference with QuickCart.
