The QuickCart example project
All guides in this documentation use the same example: QuickCart, a fictional grocery delivery platform for customers and operations. That way you recognize the same project in every guide and can follow each step yourself.
What is QuickCart about?
The team is building a platform where customers discover and order groceries and track their delivery, and where operations manage warehouse and dispatch. The project is well under way and contains:
- 5 initiatives and 16 epics that structure the platform (for example Browse & Shop or Order & Track),
- 69 user stories plus a few project and devteam stories,
- 40 workitems,
- 4 releases (for example MVP - Customer v1.0) and 4 iterations with history.
So every view shows real data: stories in all states, dependencies, discussions and progress.
Download
Download the package in the language you use the interface in:
Import
- Open the project list.
- In the menu next to New Project, choose Import Project.
- Pick the downloaded ZIP file.
- Confirm in the dialog with Create Project.
The detailed procedure with a screenshot is under Import a project. After the import, QuickCart opens in the storyboard.
You can't break anything. Simply import QuickCart again whenever you need a fresh example, and delete the old project through the menu on its project card.
The sample data refers to a fixed point in time. Time references such as "Updated in 2 days" or the forecast in Insights may therefore differ from your calendar.
